Scripture

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him” these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God—1 Corinthians 2:9

God has a plan for each of His children, and He knows every step of our journey because He has been walking with us from the beginning. He authored our story, so He knows exactly who we are meant to become and what He has called us to do in Him. As we begin to live out His purpose, we often discover that His calling is far more layered and expansive than we first imagined. In our obedience, new dimensions of His plan start to unfold. We realize He has called us to more than we expected, but we don’t always see this until we’re already walking in step with Him. As we witness the evidence of what He has spoken over our lives, our desire to understand His will grows deeper. He may reveal glimpses of what is ahead, but He never gives us everything at once—He leads us one obedient step at a time.

You don’t need to know all the answers, because God never asks you to carry what belongs to Him. He gives you exactly what you need for the season you’re in—no more, no less. The grace, strength, and wisdom you have right now are perfectly suited for today’s assignment. Prophetic insight into the future is a gift, but it must be held in the right perspective: God reveals enough to guide you, not enough to overwhelm you. Much of what you’re doing in this season is preparation for what He will unfold later. You are not behind simply because you don’t see the full picture. You were never meant to know everything—He reveals His plans at the appointed time. His desire is that your focus stays on what He is doing in your life right nowScripture reminds us that His plans are far beyond human reasoning. If He showed you everything at once, it would be too much for our limited understanding to carry. Instead of trying to figure out every detail, let the unknown become an invitation to rely on His Spirit. He will give you what you need, exactly when you need it.

Beloved, it’s natural to want all the answers—having them can make us feel in control. But we are called to surrender that control to the Spirit of God, the One who searches even the deep things of God on our behalf. What you need to know will be revealed in God’s perfect, appointed time through the Holy Spirit. You may not be able to imagine what’s next, but that is completely aligned with Scripture. You were never meant to know everything. Your assignment is to focus on the season you’re in right now and trust that even without all the answers, His plans for you remain good. They are not for disaster but for a future and a hope, just as Jeremiah 29:11 declares. If you reflect on your current season, what part of God’s goodness has been most evident to you lately?

Prayer,

Father, help our hearts accept that we don't have to have all of the answers. Help us accept that you will reveal everything in your perfect appointed time. In Jesus' name.
