"Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures" -Psalm 119:90
In any relationship, whether romantic, platonic, or even in business, consistency breeds trust. There's comfort and security in knowing that the people in your life are who they say they are. God's faithfulness is unwavering and unending. It spans time, and His consistency is the foundation of our trust in Him. He's proven His faithfulness to us time and time again. He is for us! He consistently keeps His promises, gives unconditional love, and guides us even when we are faithless. The beautiful truth about God is that He pursues our hearts to provide security so that we can build trust in Him. His love is the blueprint for all relationships.
God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning. How great is your faithfulness! I’m sticking with GOD (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left. (Lamentations 3:22-24). I love the conviction in this scripture. He continuously orders breath in our bodies each new day and meets our needs according to His riches in glory. He is faithful to forgive us when we turn to Him in repentance. When He speaks over us, He keeps His word. God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? (Numbers 23:19). He consistently provides peace and comfort in challenging situations. He comes and sees about us when our hearts are troubled. He provides strength when we are weak and tempted by the enemy.
Beloved, if He does all of this for us, then we should be faithful to Him. Not only do relationships thrive in consistency and faithfulness, but also in reciprocity. When we're faithful to God, we show Him that we trust in the person that He is. When we're faithful to Him, we're showing Him that we trust His guidance and hand upon our lives. We exhibit His characteristics such as love, peace, grace, and kindness to the world around us. Believe it or not, our faithfulness to Him shows Him that He can trust us. We'll begin to mature spiritually and grow in His grace. Most of all, Beloved, our faithfulness is a testament that His Holy Spirit is dwelling and working within us. Think on His faithfulness today and reciprocate.

Father, we thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for your consistent, unconditional love and care for us. We pledge our lives and unending devotion to you. In Jesus' name. Amen
