"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go." -Psalm 32:8
It has been my experience that in the right time God will give you what you need to fulfill His purpose in your life. When He speaks to someone to give us a prophetic word, or when we receive a word from Him during prayer, He will eventually equip you with the knowledge that you need to manifest what He has spoken to you. He will equip us with the practical knowledge as well as the Biblical knowledge we need. For instance, years ago, the Lord spoke to my heart and told me that I was a watchman over the ministry I attended at the time. I received the word, but I did not know what a watchman was. I sought the Holy Spirit about it and waited for the revelation. There was no grand cosmic gesture from Him. He didn't send me to the scriptures, He sent a person. This person was operating as a watchman and she wrote a book about the call of a watchman. From that experience, I learned the importance of a watchman, the role and responsibilities that came along with being a watchman. My faith increased after I realized that I had heard Him clearly.
Has God ever spoken something over you and then provided the tools for you to walk in it? Perhaps He's called you to entrepreneurship, but you have no clue how to get started. He will present people to you, lead and instruct you on material, and give you divine insight about being an entrepreneur. God uses more than just the Bible to guide, including life experiences, inner convictions, and wisdom gained through daily life. We have to discern and stay in tune with the Holy Spirit. We have to recognize His pattern of operation in our lives. God is very intentional and when He speaks, He speaks in the right time and the right season of our lives, even if we don't fully understand. He is creative and undefinable. While scripture is central, God’s guidance often comes through external circumstances, other people, and the Holy Spirit to direct paths. We can't assume He's going to move the same way in every situation.
Beloved, have confidence in God's hand in your life. Whatever He purposed for you to do in this life, He will give you the necessary tools you need to fulfill that purpose. Whether it's through encounters with people, life experiences, other people's expertise, or scripture, you'll be equipped. If you've not yet recognized His hand in this way, draw closer to Him and deepen your fellowship with Him. The Holy Spirit will teach you how to stay in tune with God's movement in your life. He'll help you keep track and show you God's fingerprints throughout your entire existence. This fosters trust in His plan for your life. Beloved, trust that He will never leave you ill-equipped to fulfill His purpose for your life.

Father, thank you for providing the tools that we need at the time we need them to fulfill your purpose in the earth. We draw closer to you for continual insight, knowledge, and assurance that your hand is guiding us. In Jesus name. Amen
