Scripture
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.- James 1:5
Wisdom is a key component of our success in our Christian life. Having wisdom is more than just knowing; it's the ability to apply the right knowledge at the right time. Those who possess Godly wisdom can apply divine truth to their daily lives. God has given them discernment and understanding, and the ability to make Godly decisions. When we walk in Goldy wisdom, it enables us to align our lives with the will of God. Obtaining wisdom will assist us in our spiritual growth and our ministries. We can apply God's truth to our lives effectively.
When believers possess godly wisdom, they can discern what is true and what is false. What this means is that they can distinguish between truth and deception in situations that arise in their lives. God will give them the ability to navigate spiritual challenges and make sound judgments. Believers need to seek out wisdom. The scripture above encourages us to seek wisdom if we're lacking it. I believe seeking wisdom is a lifelong journey for us.
Godly wisdom empowers us to make decisions in our lives that honor the Father. We bring glory to His name when we make decisions that align with His will. Wisdom empowers us to effectively love and minister to those who need it. We can serve others with the compassion and love of Jesus Christ. Personally, wisdom has been a shield for me when I've faced temptations. There have been some paths that I've avoided because I've prayed and asked God for wisdom to pilot my decisions and help me navigate my thought process. Beloved, wisdom is a gift from the Father, and we should seek it with a sincere heart. Ultimately, wisdom draws us closer to the Father.
Prayer
Father, we come before you seeking your wisdom and guidance. We ask for clarity in our thoughts, discernment in our decisions, and the strength to follow your will. Help us to see things from your perspective and to make choices that honor you. Amen
