Scripture
However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. - John 16:13
"Daughter, there will come a time when you have more knowledge. What will you do with it?" The Holy Spirit spoke those words to my heart while in communion with Him. I lamented about the lack of knowledge that I felt I had about the Kingdom of God. The more I learn about our Father and His Kingdom, the more I realize I don't know. He's so vast, and I concluded that I could spend multiple lifetimes getting to know Him and His nature, and I may need even more. As it turned out, from that moment, the Holy Spirit taught and revealed so much more to me, and I am consistently reminded of what He spoke to me.
The truth is, the things we experience in life, whether it be on our own accord or otherwise, can make us feel helpless. For instance, the sudden loss of a loved one. The loss of a job. Someone could experience a divorce or the dissolution of a friendship. It could even be willful sin. Whatever lot we find ourselves in life, we must remember that we have the Spirit of Truth who guides us into all truth. He speaks over us what He hears from God. "So also no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God." (I Corinthians 2:11). Emphatically, I tell you that you are not helpless. You are not alone, for He is with you always. He's been teaching and leading you. What are you going to do with the knowledge He gave you for your situation? Have you discerned that you have been equipped?
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. (I Peter 1:3). No matter what our struggles are, we have been equipped because we are in Christ Jesus. We've been given all the tools we need for life and godliness through God's divine power. Peter made it clear that knowing God as the source is the only path to being fully equipped to live as God desires. Wherever you are in life, and no matter what you're facing, He is with you ALWAYS. Remember what He's already taught you.
Prayer
Father, we thank you that we have the advocate, the Holy Spirit, who is guiding us. We thank you for your divine power that equips us to live out our lives with courageous faith. We are overcomers through your Son, Jesus Christ. To Him be all the glory and honor, forever. Amen
